The Story – Through better engaging alternatives that were “mentally stimulating and educational at the same time“, Mr. Kaizer reduced his child’s screen time.
Mr. Kaizer Billimoria from Bengaluru, was seeing an increase in his son Burjis’s screen time.
In today’s growing tech friendly lifestyle, gadgets are becoming an integral part of our lives and a day-to-day necessity, the product of which is rising screen time in even children.
But that fact alone was not enough for Mr. Kaizer to let things be. He planned to take the issue head on and strike a chord of balance for this rising screen time.
The Challenge – “He spends time on mobile” and there seemed no end to it.
Mr Kaizer tried his luck on any and all alternatives he had heard of, but they seemed ineffective.
This is when he came across Flintobox and decided to give it a try!
The Turning Point – “Every project is self contained.”
Young Burjis had finally found something more interesting than screens.
As Mr. Kaizer explains, the “instructions are easy to understand” which makes them easy for children to even engage on their own.
Practical exposure to all the concepts, through these activities, makes the entire (Flintobox) experience, “more valuable than textbook info.”
The Result – “…he has something to work on and it is mentally stimulating and educational at the same time.”
Burjis was finally spending less time on screen and rather engaging in more useful things.
For Mr. Kaizer, the “usage of real world materials to provide real world observable results.” was something that made Flintobox stand out from all else.
It doesn’t stop there. He explains “…it’s a unique educational product that is of good quality and affordable cost.” “Packaging is good quality.”
Asked if he would recommend Flintobox and why, he answers “Of course! No doubt at all.” “Parents spend more money buying games for children that might not be educational at all.”

Our generation experienced a childhood without mobile phones and gadgets. But children today are exposed to technology from a very young age. There are both positives and negatives to this.
And it will be great if a balance is struck where children experience the best of both worlds.
If children are spending a good amount of time in front of TV and mobile phones, there are 2 ways to handle it.
Option 1: Restrict the time children spend on TV and mobile phones.
Option 2: Provide healthier alternatives to TV and mobile phones that are attractive to children.
Flintobox is an effort in the direction of the second option. A bunch of activities are carefully selected and designed to educate children on new things every month and in the process, create a fun environment for them. The fun element helps children stay away and control the time they spend in front of screens.
If you would like to provide a healthier alternative to TV and mobile phones, give Flintobox a try!
