Flintobox Success Story – Mrs. Anitha Raman

The Story – From not concentrating & getting bored of repetitive activities, to being engaged with creative and fresh experience – Mrs. Anitha changed the way her son was being engaged at home.

Anitha Raman, the mother of 2 year old Shaurya from Bangalore, was having a hard time getting him to concentrate on a single task.

She tried all things by the book and even then “He would get bored if the activities were repetitive. I ran out of ideas soon.

Lack of concentration is common among children of this age, as they are enthusiastic and always on the lookout for distractions.

The Challenge – “My kid would not concentrate on any activity for long until it was something extraordinary or different.

The problem only got worse as time went by. She explains, “Thinking of activities to keep him engaged everyday became a challenge for me.

So she started digging up for other means to improve her child’s attention, and in the process, stumbled across Flintobox.

The Turning Point – “The various activities that Flintobox provides are amazing.”

With the planned set of activities, these challenges were overcome in a positive manner.

Through all the “worksheets, the activities sent through videos, and the play-based activities” Flintobox delivered the perfect solution with a ribbon on top.

The Result – “…they (the activities) are not only engaging but also very creative and gives a fresh experience to my kid every time he plays with it.

Flintobox made a significant impact in Shaurya’s life.

As Mrs. Anitha explains, “Tractor being my son’s favourite vehicle; he was really excited to play with it. He also loved the car. In the first week of receiving the Flintobox, my son became inseparable with the tractor and the car.

Little Shaurya had received the automobile-adventure theme which teaches about different modes of transportation. “He used to carry them with him always. Even when he slept he used to take these two with him to bed.

Well it didn’t stop there, “Emo story became his favorite. He reads the story everyday and enacts it before going to bed.”

With the smile of satisfaction, she recommended Flintobox to some of her friends, adding that “The themes and activities that Flintobox comes up with each month is very interesting.

Need Help Getting Started?

A lot of parents are concerned about the fact that their child does not sit in one place and concentrate on any given activity for long…

Another concern is… whenever instructed to do something, their child does the exact opposite!

Can you relate to this?

Well, this is absolutely normal behaviour in children.

And there is nothing to worry about.

Parents find it difficult to understand that a child’s brain is wired differently to that of an adult’s.

Children are naturally curious and have very high energy.

And because of this, most children are so interested in their surroundings and in exploring the world around them, that sitting in one place for an extended period just doesn’t interest them.

And another important thing parents must understand is, children are not born with powerful concentration skills — and every child’s ability to concentrate develops at his/her own pace.

But there is one SECRET!

And that secret is… if you would like to retain your child’s attention in an activity, then you need to make it FUN and ensure that it remains entertaining throughout.

And by keeping it interesting, your child’s attention is caught and he/she is naturally trained to concentrate better.

Flintobox is an effort in that direction.

Flintobox introduces new concepts to children every month in the form of activities, to channelise their energy and feed their curiosity.

The activities are designed in such a way that they are fun, interesting and entertaining.

And this naturally trains children to concentrate better.

If you would like to provide a fun environment for your child to learn and concentrate, give Flintobox a try!

90% of a child’s permanent foundation for brain development occurs in the early years according to Rauch Foundation. An overuse of gadgets can only stunt this growth and cause a negative impact on the child’s overall development.
If your child is spending more time swiping and scrolling, instead of interaction with the real world, you need to act before it’s too late.
Find out if your child is being meaningfully and positively engaged by taking this simple quiz.
