3D Hand Art: Fun Activity To Boost Your Child’s Creativity

Magic is something that’s sought after by all children. Has your child ever noticed a hand protruding out of paper? Well, he/she will now. Here’s our 3-minute video showing how an illusion of a protruding hand is done with just sketch pens and marker! A fun little magic trick to keep your child engaged this weekend! By doing this 3d hand art activity, your child’s curiosity is tested, apart from the creative, sensory, and fine motor skills.

This activity will:

  • Teach your child about optical illusions
  • Help boost your child’s creativity and confidence
  • Keep your child away from the TV and smartphone

Materials You’ll Need:
 
1) Pencil
2) Sketch
3) Marker
4) Eraser
5) A4 Sheet
3min 3D hand
Instructions for 3D Hand Art:
 
1) Trace the hand using a pencil. 
2) With sketch pens and markers, draw straight lines around the outline of hand. Draw curved lines inside the outline.
3) Using a pencil darken the outline and smudge it. The 3D hand print is done!
