It’s fun to create new things from scratch. But there’s a completely different thrill added when you re-use old things to create something fresh! Wouldn’t it be amazing (for us and for our planet) if our kids could also learn the art of recycling waste material! Well, in today’s activity, we’re reusing a bottle cap to create a cute li’l key chain. Are you ready? Let’s get started with bottle cap key chain!

- Bottle cap
- A pair of scissors
- Sketch pen
- Washi tape – or any decorative tape
Instructions for bottle cap key chain activity:
- With a compass, poke two holes in the side of a bottle cap.
- Insert lace through it.
- Put a bead into the lace and tie it tight!
- Draw, cut and stick papers on and inside the bottle cap.
- Draw on them with a sketch pen!
- Stick washi tape on the sides of the cap
Insert this into your key holder! Wasn’t that fun? 🙂
